thanks kim, you’re so insightful!

clearly, i am making fun of her questionable
knowledge of the implications of either measure
but her tweet informed thousands more than anything
i will have written about it and now i’m gonna go be
really sad about that indisputable fact.

oh wow, google. SO BRAVE!

you have sites like wikipedia and reddit who
are blacking out their pages entirely in opposition
to SOPA and PIPA and this is all you can do?

i suppose you have a community of people that
pay very close attention to the google font of
the day but that’s a minority. you can’t even
view this page if you are logged into gmail.
i’m bummed that you let your shareholders win.

i finally know what it feels like to
have a nice coat that fits well.

note: this was a self-portrait done
myspace style in the mirror and i’m
not showing up because i’m a vampire.

i survived canada

well, i did last time too but there was
more paperwork and misery surrounding
that one so it was kind of difficult to be
all triumphant about not being dead yet.

on the flight back, there was a newly
engaged indian couple behind me and
the guy was practically licking her asshole
with the bullshit he was kicking to her,
talking about what he’d buy for her and
what car she deserves and the flight was
very turbulent and i sat there wondering
if this was the last thing that would ever
happen to me and for the first time i
really got to know what fear was.

in canada

i’m here on business and that’s a funny thing to say
because i actually am and i never thought those words
would ever be uttered by me. the last time i was here i
got a severe case of food poisoning from a tim horton’s
and everyone that i’ve met with has mentioned this which
is funny because it made me spend 8 hours in a hospital
which cost me around $600, but they don’t know that.
(they also don’t know that it was my first and only trifecta.)

i finally got to go to toronto this time around, but not for
very long. we ended up going to the drake hotel because
it was recommended to us and i laughed because he’s the
most famous recording artist right now and he’s from there.
they had expensive cocktails and i ordered one made out of
bourbon and it was the pussiest drink i’ve ever ordered and
the frou frou drink my boss ordered ended up being manlier
looking than mine and when i saw that, mine was in a dainty
saucer and his was in a highball glass with a giant ice cube.
the waitress laughed about it all, but i’m sure she’s used to it
because she works at a bar where they serve deceptively dainty
drinks and men like to try to overcompensate when neutered.

i am sorry to be rude by posting politics but i had
to repost this because i feel like breaking this
survey down is really important to understanding
middle america and their very curious priorities.
whether or not people can marry or if people
can abort children is not more important than
fixing the very broken government and economy.
it’s a just a prank they pull on the religious to trick
them into caring about their religious issues instead
of their very fucked up government. they just wake
the mob and tell them to be angry at something.

brian eno - king’s lead hat

brian eno heard the talking heads in 1977 and
liked them so he wrote a song inspired by them
and it was a nice harbinger of remain in light
and my life in the bush of ghosts and i’m really
glad that brian eno and david byrne met each other.

4 hours

i just finished cataloging my vinyl collection.
i don’t think there is much more masturbatory
than an act like this but it became practical after
buying the strokes - is this it? for the 3rd time.
(i keep forgetting that i don’t have room on fire.)

edit: why won’t discogs let you link to your collection?
edit2: fixed. the fruit of my labor.
